Most of the mottoes, in Italian or Latin, are taken or adapted from Petrarch or Virgil. Contains two laudatory poems: "Valerio de Palma à Frà Fran.co Cuomo." (fol. 2) and "In Lode dell'Autore frà Gioanne Sezzo. Francescano."
